Ancaster Montessori Parents' Association

The Parents' Association at Ancaster Montessori School has several objectives:

1. Increase awareness of the Ancaster Montessori School.
2. Organize fundraising projects to purchase additional equipment or supplies for the children.
3. Organize special activities for the students of Ancaster Montessori School such as the Christmas Party and Year-End Party.
4. Improve the school for the benefit of our children.
5. Facilitate communication between teachers and parents.
6. Encourage contact between parents.

We added a fence around the playground.
Fall 2005 - We added mulch, removed weeds, and trimmed the trees.
Christmas 2005 - Organized sleigh ride and Christmas party.
March 2006 - Purchased language materials for the classroom.
March 2006 - Designed a web site for the school.
April 2006 - Organized Mom to Mom Sale at the school.
April 2006 - Purchased a new sign outside the school.
May 2006 - Purchased a banner for fall registrations.
Christmas 2006 - Purchased 4 long tables for Christmas party.
April 2007 - Helped organize Easter Egg Hunt
Halloween 2007 - Planned activites and games for the Halloween party.
Christmas 2007 - Organized Christmas party and activities.
Christmas 2007 - Arranged a toy drive for CHML's Tree of Hope.
March 2008 - Helped organize Easter Egg Hunt.
October 2008 - Organized a field trip to Lindley's Farm to pick a pumpkin.
October 2008 - Organized food and activities for the Halloween party.
Christmas 2008 - Organized Christmas party and Singing Santa.
Christmas 2008 - Organized a toy drive for CHML's Tree of Hope.
Christmas 2008 - Purchased a food gift card and presents for a family through the Wraparound program.
